Who Am I?

I am a Board Certified Art Therapist with the American Art Therapy Association and Licensed with the state of New York. I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a Certificate in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts. In 1996 I received my Masters in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, NY. I have been practicing Art Therapy since 1997, first at Bellevue Hospital with adolescents and currently in the Jersey City Public School System with students from K thru ­8. As of 2011, I have been adjunct faculty at the School of Visual Arts, Masters in Creative Arts Therapy Program. In addition, I am an ATCB certified supervisor working with graduate level interns and Art Therapists working towards their registration and licensure. I serve on the board of the New Jersey Art Therapy Association as well as being very active with the  American Art Therapy Association as the Annual Conference Arts Chair.  I have presented throughout my career in NY, NJ and various art therapy conferences.  In addition, I am a sculptor exhibiting throughout the United States and abroad.

My private practice working with children, adolescents, and adults began in 2002. I continue to explore my own creative process through stone and wood carving, bronze casting and clay modeling in my studio at home.
